Covid Status Survey

To all Olympic Employees,
Para todos los empleados de Olympic,

As per the letter that we sent out earlier this month, we are being notified  by a few of our General Contractors that some of their customers, as soon as November 1st, will be requiring all onsite construction workers to be fully vaccinated.

What does that mean to you?
¿Qué significa eso para usted?

Olympic is not requiring you to get vaccinated, BUT we are letting you know that when these projects do start, we will be required to place only fully vaccinated employees on these projects.
Olympic no requiere que se vacune, PERO le informamos que cuando estos proyectos comiencen, se nos pedirá que coloquemos solo empleados completamente vacunados en estos proyectos.

We are requesting you to complete this survey to help us.
Le pedimos que complete esta encuesta para ayudarnos.

Joseph Mahan, a 17-year-old high school student from Parker, decided to join Olympic Companies S.D. for a pre-apprenticeship this summer after his father suggested the program to him. "I always thought construction is a good career field to go into. For me, it was super neat to actually go to a job site and be in the field," he said. Mahan, during his two-month summer program with Olympic Companies, worked at the Sanford Van Demark vertical expansion project in Sioux Falls.

Soon after graduating from high school in the early 1980s, William Finney started a little business of buffing floors for big retail stores like K-Mart. He saved up and bought a red Corvette at the end of 1986. Fast forward 34 years and it's kind of come full circle for this foreman at Olympic Companies. At the end of last year, he had saved up enough to buy a red 1986 Corvette again, just like the one he had when he was in his 20s.
