New construction will contain two connected buildings; one six story and one seven story, anchored by Whole Foods. The existing parking ramp is being salvaged and the new building is going up around it.
Olympic's scope of work includes metal framing, spray polyurethane foam insulation, drywall, fireproofing, and EIFS.
The project contains two unique towers on the corners of Hennepin and 1st Ave North. The towers are being constructed out of light gauge load-bearing metal framing along with prefabricated metal roof trusses.
The fast track schedule of the building has an opening slated for summer 2013.
