Port Washington High School

Description of Project:

Exterior framing and sheathing and interior gypsum board assemblies for a  3 story academic addition and an addition of a cafeteria, gymnasium and offices.  Renovation of existing school in many separate areas completed over 11 phases including gypsum board assemblies.

Major Challenge:

3 story academic addition built on the slope of a hill requiring a plan to be created for accessing work at the exterior of the building.  Abuse resistant gypsum board used throughout the project required attention to screw installation to avoid drywall bulge that would have required additional work by finisher to conceal.
